Anne Costancio and her family have run this domaine since the 1950′s. These days they concentrate on their beautiful Legende D’Automne red and their excellent rosé.
Situated around the hamlet of Paguignan, close to Aigues Vives, and Pradhes, a small hamlet above Aigne, the Constancios grow a combination of Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault and Carignan on their 33 hectares.
Domaine de Paguignan
Syrah, Carignan and Grenache
A perfect accompaniment to wild boar, perhaps “Cuissot de Sangliere Roti” with juniper berries: if you can’t find one find a deer and try venison with port and kumquat!
Anne Constancio has produced this delicious red full of garrigue herb aromas, blackcurrant and dark cherries. The old Carignan blended with the predominant Syrah delivers a deep velvet colouring.
