Domaine De Barroubio

Situated within the beautiful hamlet of Barroubio, on the border of the Haut Languedoc National Park, the Miquel family have tended the this sixty hectare domaine since the 15th century.

Raymond Miquel and his family use both modern and traditional techniques in the making of their wine, ever conscious of preserving the natural environment in the production of these fantastic wines of the highest quality.

Notes

This beautiful red with aromas of wild spices and late summer soft fruit is a great example of a balanced Minervois wine. Smooth on the palate, let it breathe and serve at about 17C to enhance the experience.

Bright red in colour with aromas of dark berries and layers of texture this 2 star Hachette Guide wine, a blend of Syrah, 100 year old Carignan and Grenache has a well deserved reputation in Europe . It will do in Australia soon!

Serve well chilled as an aperitif or with brebis cheese and light honey.

Notes

This wine is made exclusively from hand picked Muscat Blanc and Petit Grains grapes, hence it’s beautiful rich silky texture. Explicit flavours in the mouth of late harvest apricot and peach, and the nose is full of yellow blossom and sweet fruits.
